BIOGRAPHY

I am a New Media Artists and Metalsmith currently studying at the University of North Texas. Growing up I found a love for art in watching my sister draw. Not only would she draw funny characters but she would make up their voices and everything they would possibly say. Being a kid who grew up watching cartoons and playing video games I loved it. Since then, I have worked tirelessly to improve my own art skills. Stemming from my love for cartoons, I found a love for animation, finding the process of creating a moving figure to be exciting. I have loved the idea of being able to create a story through my pieces and have found animation to be a great way of doing so. But as I’ve continued learning about different methods of art, I have also found a love for metalsmithing. I love the aspect of making a handmade item and having the challenge of creating a story through it.
